By now you have probably realized that despite the claims made by the manufacturers of various over the counter diet supplements a change in diet alone will not result in lasting weight loss and that exercise has to be an equal part of the weight loss equation. Having realised this many people wonder which forms of exercise might be the most effective when it comes to fat burning and weight loss.
While any form of exercise is better than none at all if you go primarily on calories burned per hour and average fat loss then indeed some forms of exercise are better for whole body fat burning than others. And, as you will see as you read on, many are not complex, nor do you need to spend hours in the gym or spend a fortune.
Burn Fat Fast – Jogging
Running is one of the best full body exercises there is, but not everyone is up to a daily sprint (or should even attempt to be) Jogging is however, a very close alternative, that most relatively healthy people can manage as it offers most of the same benefits that full tilt running does, if undertaken on a regular basis. The only problem being is that jogging can be hard on the knees, especially if you run on pavement, so if you have joint issues you may want to consider something else.
Burn Fat Fast – Walking
Walking is a far gentler alternative to jogging and numerous studies have proved is just as effective for whole body fitness as it offers the added benefit of being a great stress reliever. Having a horrible day at the office? A mere ten minute walk will not only help you stay fit and burn off calories but it will also, as many already know, lighten your mood and re-adjust your mental focusl.
Burn Fat Fast – Swimming
In addition to being a great calorie burner swimming is a gentle form of exercise that even those with joint problems and many chronic medical conditions that rule out jogging and walking can still participate in, enjoy and reap the benefits from.
Swimming can in fact be rather deceptive in terms of calorie and fat burning. It feels far more effortless than more ‘strenuous’ forms of exercise and yet can often burn about the same number of calories per hour.
Burn Fat Fast – Weight Training
Provided your GP deems you fit for weight training it is perhaps the best way to burn fat and calories quickly, mainly because the process continues up to 48 hours after a workout session has ended. Many people shy away from weight training however, especially women, because they have no desire to end up looking ‘bulked up’ and also because they think it is just too difficult.
Building lean muscle calls for fat loss but building muscle does not have to mean ending up with bulging biceps (although many people do aim for that) or grunting through two hours of agony at the gym. A simple beginner’s weight training program, using little more than a couple of cheap, easy to find dumbbells (or even a couple of cans of beans in a push) can be far more effective as a fat burning exercise than you might ever have imagined.
So there you have the four forms of exercise that will Burn Fat Fast, remember exercise regularly.Three times a week for 20 minutes at a time would be a sensible minimum but if you can fit in more (and your GP agrees it’s OK) doing more will Burn Fat Faster.
